Meet Grant

As the founder of Trimble Wealth Advisors, Grant has spent his career working for families to offload the burden of securing their financial futures. He prides himself on being able to take the worry off his clients so they can focus on thriving in the now. Grant also works with corporate clients to deliver retirement plans to their employees, with an emphasis on overall financial wellness.

Grant holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University, where he played varsity soccer. He started his career as a financial advisor in 2004 and founded Trimble Investment Group in 2011. In 2022, Trimble Investment Group became Trimble Wealth Advisors and a Partner firm of Carson Group.

Grant holds the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, which is recognized as the highest standard in financial planning. He also holds an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) accreditation. These designees are the only ones who have been certified specifically for their ability to follow a fiduciary process with their clients’ best interests at heart. Additionally, Grant also holds the designation of Certified Exit Planner Advisor from the Exit Planning Institute. The CEPA program is the most widely accepted and endorsed professional exit planning program in the world. The CEPA program was specifically designed for business advisors who work closely with owners of privately held companies to help identify, build, harvest and manage wealth to assist those business owners and their families through an ownership transition.

Outside of the office, Grant enjoys spending time with his family – wife Liz and children Henry, Charlie and Georgia – staying busy with kids’ activities and traveling as a family. He coaches youth soccer and is often reminded by his body that it is best to remain a coach. Grant is also an avid reader.
